Vector Artwork
If you can
supply vector artwork, here is what you need to
know.
Size:
Artwork must
be supplied at the final size desired.
File Format:
Adobe Illustrator 12
or previous editions or Corel Draw 13 or
previous editions are accepted formats.
Placed Images:
All artwork
contained in the art file must be vector and
cannot contain placed images.
Color:
All colors should be
CMYK process colors. Use white in any area
that you wish to have white printed. Do
not use white to mask out areas that represent
shirt color. Do not dsignate any colors as
spot or RGB.
Fonts:
All fonts
must be converted to curves (Corel Draw) or
outlines (Illustrator).
Line
Thickness:
Minimum line
thickness is 2.5 points (.34"). Non
printing areas need to measure 1 point thick.
Halftones:
Halftones
must have a solid backing color. Designs
cannot have soft (transparent or
semi-transparent) edges.
ARTWORK MUST
BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PDF OR JPEG PROOF.
Raster Artwork
Size:
Artwork must
be supplied at the final size desired.
File Format:
Photoshop (.psd) and
TIFF (.tif) files are accepted formats.
Resolution:
Resolution must be
300 dpi or 300 ppi
Color:
All colors should be
CMYK process colors. Use white in any area
that you wish to have white printed.
Fonts:
All fonts
must be converted to curves (Corel Draw) or
outlines (Illustrator).
ALL IMAGES
MUST BE ON A LAYER WITH SOLID EDGES OR BE
ACCOMPANIED BY A SOLID MASK.
